Could someone explain to me the relationship between dancing half naked sexually provocative women, called The Rockettes, and the celebration of the Nativity of the Most Holy Son of God? Every year many, including professing Christians, flock to this as a part of the celebration of Christmas, many of whom don't even attend a worship service on the day of the Feast. Many churches don't even have such a service!
Do we really prepare to meet the coming Saviour with the Rockettes? The Saviour taught us to prepare for His Advent with holy vigilance, prayer, repentance, fasting and self-denial?
It seems to me that the Rockettes are the quintessential example of a pagan celebration of the world that still uses the name Christmas as an excuse to indulge the gods of entertainment and materialism.
